On Saturday July 17, 2010 I went to the Garrison Creek Riders 38th annual rodeo in Muldrow Oklahoma. The rodeo is billed as the “Biggest Little Rodeo this side of heaven”. Rodeos are a very difficult event to photograph because of the fast action and low light of the arena. On some of the shots I used flash, on others I used a very high ISO of up to 32,000 which I Have never been happy with the amount of noise in the resulting photos, until now. Ligthroom 3 with it’s improved noise reduction really works quite well, it will give a smooth look to the image but definitely takes away the sensor noise. Let me know your thoughts on how well it works.
