My son Matt and I went out to shoot some pictures, we took a drive through the Ozark National Forest, ending up at Shores Lake. We walked down below the spillway to take photos of the dam. Construction of the dam at Shores Lake began in the 1930s by men in a nearby Civilian Conservation Corps camp. The dam was completed in 1958.
While the dam is pretty cool, built by hand from rock blocks, what I found to be the subject of my photos is the area in the foreground of the photo above. If you look closely in the lower left corner you can see some colored areas on the top of the water. Just look what happens when you move in close and shoot.
