Advanced Flash Photography

Learn to use flash to it’s full potential to obtain spectacular results, that don’t look like you used a flash.

Do you dread having to use a flash for you photos? Do they get washed out and look terrible? This workshop will show you how you can take control of light, with knowledge, equipment, and practice, using portable on-camera and off-camera flash. This workshop will be done using Canon and third party equipment, but the techniques learned will apply to other brands as well.

We will also use studio flash and learn the differences, and advantages – disadvantage of each.

We will work from bad flash photos, to better flash photos, to great flash photos, by controlling the flash and moving it off the camera. Greg will take you through a variety of lighting set ups with live demonstrations and you’ll see first-hand how improving your lighting techniques can take your photography to a new professional level. Learn how using multiple flash units can give studio quality results.

Details
Location	Greg Disch Private Studio
Experience	A good understanding of how to set your camera controls.
Equipment	Digital camera, an off camera flash is recomended but not required.
Optional Equipment	Additional flash and lighting accessories.
Maximum Class Size	6 participants to enable personal attention, and hands on time with the studio lighting.
Schedule	One day class starting a 10:00 am and running till 5:00 pm with a break for lunch (not provided).
